Empowering Families
We are a group of individuals dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with special needs and their families by providing needed tools and skills, through a personalized, comprehensive program based on the principles of ABA.

ABOUT US
At Encompass Consulting, the focus is on the client and family. We value individual abilities, cultural backgrounds, and family dynamics —making sure that each person’s unique needs are met through the services we provide. We believe that the best results come from working as a team- so you will always see frequent collaboration and communication among staff and family.

Encompass Consulting leads ABA programs for special needs individuals of all ages, serving the greater Alameda and Contra Costa Counties area since 2010.

Our diverse team of Program Consultants, Program Supervisors, and Behavior Therapists have more than twenty years of combined experience and are committed to providing life-enhancing programs and services to children, adults, and their families.

We are an in-network provider for several insurance carriers, meeting all requirements, standards, and regulations necessary to provide the highest quality of service.

Our goal is to help our students and their families overcome behavior challenges by facilitating communication, increasing independence through positive social interaction, and fostering generalization of those skills. We strive to teach skills that will better the lives of everyone involved by teaching daily practical life skills and creating breakthroughs in day to day living.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Encompass Consulting's programs are based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. We also use DTT (Discrete Trial Training), PRT (Pivotal Response Training), and NET (Natural Environment Teaching) which all fall under the umbrella of ABA.
WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?
This means that we assess the relationship between the student's behavior and his/her environment, clearly describes teaching procedures, systematically collects data and makes decisions based on that data, and consistently monitors the intervention process.
Skill areas we consider include functional communication, self-help skills, play skills, and social skills. Developmentally appropriate goals are defined to address skill deficits and maladaptive behaviors, a treatment plan is then created. This plan is the basis for the intervention program.
